yeah! back from KL! haha..

hmm this whole week ... there was the first day of the seventh month n there were ****** pple polluting the air and land. on my way to work i prayed that God will take the pollution away. and the next day He did! the ground was rather clean, considering it had been badly littered the day before.

hmm.. had been staying up late on wed n thur nights to bia the harvest event role tags.. do until stone. thur night was a bit better, was in a better mood. but last minute after sending the files shirley realised that the size was wrong. i was like, AHHHHH!!!!! and went to redo. slept at 3am n on friday i was like a walking zombie.

felt quite bad this week cuz there were one or two days i had nothing to do. i had to look busy still. i was doing this website, do until sian. i dunno y i didn't have the passion to do that particular website. then usually i get emails to update this website, amend that website.. but those days dun have leh. didn't get to play much with my boss' puppy also cuz whenever he goes out he'll let the dog sleep inside a cupboard.

hmm.. friday was a disaster. reason being i slept late on thur night.. have a tendancy to snap easily. there was no value in my ezlink card already n i reminded myself on thur evening that i will top it up on fri morning, after i borrow money from my dad. (i've used up my pay la) but when i asked him for $20, he only had $50. so i blur blur accepted it n left home. when i was abt to reach the lrt station it suddenly dawned upon me that i wanted to top up only $10, n have $10 to eat! i desperately started to ask pple if they have change for $50. no one have!! n then i desperately went downstairs to the shopping mall, went to cheers n asked for change, they dun have!! went to the foodcourt, n again, dun have!! i panicked n called my dad, hopefully he's still around, can drive me to mrt station. n i started to cry. i really wasted 15 min. then my dad arrived at the lrt station. he was going to take train as well. so he passed me his extra ezlink card for me to use. seems so silly to cry over this right? well i wasn't in the mood to think rationally la. i was angry with myself for being so blur. n i cry when i'm super angry.

was late for work, obviously. but i guess it was ok la becuz i usually stay a few minutes more anyway. i wouldn't dare leave on time that day too. went to take train to woodlands to meet the not-so-singles' club.. i thought from Outram i could get there in half an hour. i was wrong!! it actually takes 45 min!! then we went to take bus 950. friday was super jammed. lotsa msians going back. traffic was bad esp in the evening. but we arranged to meet ian at City Square at 8.30pm n we did arrive on time. we even helped an old man fill in his white card.

had dinner at Kenny Rogers'. i ordered macaroni n cheese, the waitress brought me spaghetti. i just wanted to clarify what i ordered n the rest called me a fussy customer. dots. i asked the waitress if my meal comes with a drink, she said something n walked away. thought she was going to bring me a menu to choose a drink but didn't. after a long wait, she brought me an iced lemon tea. did i order that? y she assume i want to drink lemon tea?! when my macaroni finally came they said it looks like shit. thanks pple.

after dinner it was soon closing time for the shops. walked around a bit then went to the train station to wait. our train was due to arrive at 11pm. just before the train arrived, we waited at the platform.. they saw a shooting star but i missed it. so sad! boarded the sleeper cabin.. we played dai dee till 1am? then went to sleep. i like to sleep on the train. around 6.30am i heard them talking n i woke up. took photos n videos of the moving scenery outside. washed up n then we arrived in KL. it was 7am. there were no shops open at that time.. so we decided to take the monorail to Imbi station n look for hotel. i like the interior of the monorail. we still had no luck at 9am. the rooms were either fully booked or too ex. so we went to eat breakfast. had dim sum n bak kut teh. v cheap leh, each person RM14 only. oh wait let me introduce, there were 5 of us: ian, nicholas, michael, wendy n myself. okay moving on, we decided to go buy bus tickets for our transport back n shun bian look out for hotels to ask for rooms. bought tickets for Konsortium bus. double decker one. finally decided to stay at Katari Hotel. but it wasn't check in time, so we deposited our bags at the reception n then went out shopping. by then shops were open already. we went to Times Sq n after walking for a while i started to get impatient. we had so little time n yet the guys took so long at each shop. so we split up to shop. bought 2 S&K tops n their magazine. that's all i bought.

walked to Plaza Sungei Wang for more shopping. wah this place pissed me off man. so big so confusing. we all waited for the lift n i was last to board. then overload cuz it was too crowded. so i stepped out n went to take the escalators. supposed to go 6th floor, but i could only reach the 4th floor. it was a rooftop carpark. i panicked n wondered how to get to the 6th floor without taking the lift! after i found them, i was pissed with ian for calling me stupid. really pissed. walked around with wendy n tried to look for checkered shorts. i think those kinda shorts dun suit me. u know, those u can see so many girls wearing nowadays. so i didn't buy. wendy bought a pearl necklace n another rather bohemian-looking one. at 3+pm we met up for dinner. had jap cuisine at Sushi station! yummy~ ate a lot.

wanted to leave Sungei Wang, but we realised that it was raining heavily. we had no umbrellas with us. we had the option of buying umbrellas, n taking taxi. but in the end we waited for the rain to stop. i had a bowl of chocolate rice dumplings. - fav dessert. choc flavour looks really unique ma, so i die-die must try. walked back to the hotel but i was quite sian becuz my slippers r rather slippery n i dun dare to walk quickly. the rest were like "angel, faster!", sigh. reached around 6.30pm. checked into the rooms. we had 2 connecting rooms. we showered n rested n then left the room around 8pm. went to the Chinatown, Jalan Petaling. there were lotsa imitation goods. i was quite sian of walking thru the crowd la. somemore not just once, but probably 9-10 times already. serious. went to eat at the roadside.. ordered stingray n claypot rice. nic ordered prawn noodles too. rating 3 out of 5 *s. i love the one back at my workplace most. i also love the one back at my old house, West Coast Rd, but not sure if it's still there.

felt back ache. very jialat. can't wait to go back. i admit that i was pulling a long face the whole night. waited for the guys to buy jerseys yet they could not wait for me to try on sunglasses. was even scolded by one stallowner for wasting time. spoiled my night. the guys bought shoes too. n i didn't buy anything at all. on our way back we saw a mobile Ramly burger stall n ordered 3. yummy~ (seems like only food can make me feel better).

went back to the hotel. again they keep telling me to walk faster. i'm supposed to walk between the guys, front n back, but the back pple want to talk to the front pple n they overtake me. then they say i walk slow. sian! rested for a while then went out for more supper. wendy told me abt the chilli crab n made me feel very gian to eat it. it was quite far la. hmm anyway i took quite long with the last piece of the crab n nic was v sian of waiting. =(

went back, showered, packed my bag n went to slp. it was around 3am. woke up at 6.30am, washed up n went back to nap some more. until ian came to wake me up. we bought tickets for the 8.30am bus back, n the rest wanted to stay somemore. so we let them sleep in. we went for breakfast downstairs n then left. i was glad that we got the upstairs seats of the double decker bus! slept through the journey cuz we were tired la. but when i woke up it felt worse. reached Larkin, the bus terminal. went to Marrybrown to eat lunch. had fish fillet burger meal. not bad la. then took Causeway Link back to the customs n to Singapore. at woodlands checkpoint i passed very quickly. n waited v long for ian.. i wasn't looking attentively for him so i was afraid he was waiting for me elsewhere n left after he didn't see me. anyway. he showed up half an hr later. i was shocked that msians take so long to pass the customs.

went to take train n bus to church for the harvest event. was v disappointed that judy pang seh me last min lor. sigh.

the performances were GOOD! but the pple around me were very bad audiences. there was a little boy who kept talking to his mother behind him. i was pissed that the mother was encouraging him to talk by leaning forward n asking him things. the person behind me didn't switch his/her phone to silent mode la. halfway the dance the phone went off. as for sermon, i think pastor joshua lost some listeners, but i pray that it is not the words that touch the pples' hearts, but rather the presence of God.

after that went home with Gail. asked my dad to pick me up at punggol. went for dinner n bought some groceries n paid some bills. first time getting a 4-digit pay.

sorry ah, today i seem to have a complaining spirit. next time when i get over it i try to take away some harsh words from this entry.

:: meetups ::

friday was good. met up with Audrey for lunch. she took the wrong bus cuz i gave the wrong info.. =P OOPS. i think i wasted half an hr of my lunch time.

had lunch at Haveli cafe. last time i found a hair in the chicken cutlet. asked them to change n they hurried through the cooking n gave me half-cooked chicken. my colleague n i were the first customers there la. so i wun blame them. went back again. this time had chicken cutlet too, but this time they changed cook. i changed my fries for rice. i think i started to love eating rice since my trip to thailand. they have wonderful rice there!

really gotta thank God, i went back to office half an hour later (1½ hr lunch), hoping to be able to explain to my boss y i went back late but.... he left already! then Val came to discuss some design stuff. after that we n juliana talked about ywam and missions. our office turned into a christian gathering! =)

juliana n i packed up n left on time. hehe..

went to meet hao.. went to (shucks i dunno where) for dinner. had beijing food. served by china women. they seriously fail the servicing exam if there were one. the woman who cleared our plates asked us y we never eat our vegetables!!!!! it wasn't in a friendly tone either.

then walked around.. explored the chinatown complex. it seriously looks like a good setting for horror film. walked towards clarke quay. (uh actually not really.) had drinks at a pub near Far East Central. tried this normandic ice with melon, peppermint, strawberry n peach flavours. we had 4 shots of each flavour. then we walked on to One George n i started to act crazy. =P went to Golden Cafe to take a look (really just a look). then walked to clarke quay to take train home.

oh yah i took part in this SBS Transit promotion http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/promotions/promo_LHM.aspx, but i didn't win!! i really stayed up till 12am to send the email!! =(

I don't think those who didn't win should complain how the judges decided on this winning design. Do they think their design is so good that they should complain? They actually set up websites and asked participants to upload their entries to kinda show off. And try to make each other agree that the winning design was lousier.

Sigh.

:: Pirates of the Carribean ::

celebrated my dad's bday on tue cuz i would be going to watch movie on wed. my mom n i treated him to dim sum in chinatown =P~ ate until bao bao.

wed went to watch Pirates of the Carribean with SDN club.. so cool.. so happy to c my juniors.. esp *johnny* LOL.

the movie is WOW. but i dun like the intro. nic n i entered when the trailers just ended n the movie was just starting. our seats were taken by some other juniors whose seats were taken by other other juniors. so we took other other other juniors' seats. but the ushers came in and checked our tickets n made sure we got back our seats. that happened during the first few minutes of the show n i got quite blur with what was happening on the screen. furthermore the intro was too much conversations. i forgot who is william turner n how he is related to elizabeth. U MUST WATCH PART 1 JUST BEFORE PART 2 - if u're as forgetful as me. i tend to forget movie storylines.

after that commotion tt happened earlier we all quietened down. yup there was a part where the juniors clapped for Captain Jack Sparrow. -duh-

then sweeyi came in. i ate popcorns till i got ulcer.. =(

we went to chat with Eugene after the show n he told us there would be a short ending after the casting. so we stayed back to watch. it was -duh-. haha.. in a funny sense la.

i love that movie!! i'm so gonna watch part 3!

long time no come online~! so many emails! *argh! flooded ah!!

hmm.. abt work, so far so good la. experienced a few days of stress when there are deadlines, n even when there weren't things to do, there was stress too because boss is always in the office n i somehow get the feeling that he's watching silently.. =S

sat was cool. had cell grp, then went for dinner at lavender food centre. hate to wait for seats. food is ok only. got a lift from brandon home. really grateful but i think i forgot to express it.

sun tried to wake up early for prayer meeting, but my dad is working, so i had to go church with my mom. she doesn't want to go early. so we compromise, try to reach at 9.30am. Sermon v short, taken from Hebrews 12:1-2. i wonder what u can talk about 2 verses. had lunch with cell grp at Harbourfront. haha. met Nissi there. when we've moved to Potong Pasir, we come back to Harbourfront for lunch. lol.

went back home to sleep for an hr until judy called. she was at my door already. i was still v sleepy. not long later sweeyi n cheryl arrived. i took out my new boardgame to play (yay!) played 2 rounds then they sian liao. played blackjack using mahjong chips. then we went out for dinner. cheryl drove us to night safari bongo, where we all used to work. haha.. it was cool man, like girls outing to clubs. but she was quite upset cuz of the scratches she got on the car, which belongs to her boyfriend. n at night safari we wanted to go car park, but we went in the wrong area. we kinda bumped into the barrier n the unfriendly cisco came to us n told us we need to pay $200 if they checked that the barrier is broken. that really blasted our day man. cheryl was really upset, so judy n i thought of giving her a treat. but anyway we had a great dinner. met up with some of their friends (i only worked 2 days so i dunno everyone). had ben & jerry's ice cream. hehe~

sweeyi had to go home so cheryl sent her home. then at 11+pm judy's friend came. we went to bukit timah, al ahmeen to meet jeremy n the rest. i remembered the place wrongly. but anyway it was great to have judy meet my cell grp n some other church friends. around 1+am we took cars to jeremy's house. it was probably our last chance to hang out at Kismis Ave cuz he's shifting soon. was having headache already. anyway.. World cup finals started at 2am... i betted France-Italy draw at half-time n 2-0 at full-time. i was still qualified after half-time, but confirm lost at the end. still, i got chance to win if i got the closest bet.

i was quite upset when i watched Zidane got red card. cuz apparently the italian guy said something that made him angry n told him to say that again. He repeated what he said n pissed Zidane off. i was like... "awwwwww...." at that part.. everyone who supported italy at first, felt sorry for him. i was really tired but kinda woke up in shock at that part.

went to slp in jeremy's room. i thought there were more pple staying, but they went off after watching soccer. i can't go home la. cuz i already planned to stay n i have no transport home. anyway. set alarm to wake up 1 hr later, but i slept till 8.20am. i was like "okay, 10 min to work..." when i woke up. jeremy's mom was v nice to prepare breakfast for me. but i was rushing. took cab to work though sweeyi already warned me abt the raise in cab fare. bo bian la~

so that whole day was just bad for me. but anyway, met up with Grace for lunch.. hehe long time nv see her. went home to sleep, wanted to wake up at 9pm, to bathe n eat something, but i actually slept thru till the next morning! tue was bad too, i had headache that whole day. but better than monday. was in time for work so it was okay. was lonely for lunch cuz my colleague is not in office. went to bangkok. bought bread n tuna for lunch n dinner n breakfast. went home straight after work, but didn't sleep immediately like monday.

praise God that after praying, my headache subsided. my colleague is back from bangkok.. yay~ weiting came to find me.. yay passed her the invitation to my church concert. hope to c u there!! can sit together since i'm not performing. after work walked to chinatown to buy shampoo n hair moisturiser (benefit of working in chinatown area - cheap toiletries!!) then took train to dhoby ghaut Trumpet Praise. selected books n cds with esther n shirley. had dinner at the food court then went home.

then today lunch was bad. tried the fish slice bee hoon at a fish head steamboat stall.. it was BAD!! (my colleague thought it was good though) i dun like the rough bee hoon (i like chu mi fen, but not ROUGH one - low quality to me. we had a lot of visitors today. Val came to visit me with raw documents from clients. then Ben n 1 guy - namecard printer came with my namecards n egg tarts. (one of them's cute ;P - i dunno which is ben) the char siew puff tasted sour n like vegetarian one.. >.< after work went to church (often meet Serene on the train) for MCG meeting.. met Gail for dinner at coffeeshop opp indian temple. i didn't find the meeting fruitful leh~ my personal objectives were not met. i wanted to find out how MCG functions, how often is the meetup, what projects are we/they taking, what's the next big thing, who's in charge of what etc.

anyway, i'm still sad for Zidane. =(

HAHA long time no update again. (Pictures in Photo section)

well quick one: for last week there was one day my boss brought Juliana n i to far east plaza for lunch.. at the nan-something japanese yakitori restaurant. yummy~! thurs we went to telok blangah market for lunch. wow my boss drive a Merz... i really think it's good stuff.

then nothing much except that my sis came back for a holiday.. didn't get to spend much time with her cuz thur i had sectional training in church n friday went out with not-so-Singles' Club. brought them to Spizza in Club St.. my treat since i got my pay already.. =D

sat had cell grp n worship prac.. i led worship in cell grp but i really felt that God is the one moving in the place. i taught them a hokkien song, to kinda intro the worship in the church in tanjung balai.

i felt bad tt i was late on sunday morning. kept snoozing my alarm clocks.. it was quite a special service becuz towards the end everyone took a group photo. the whole congregation... imagine that! =)

had a meeting with kelvin, jeremy, guorong and joshua cheng. after that went home to nap for a while before going to the airport to send my sis off. we had Ajisen ramen n i treated. this is the last time i'm gonna eat at Ajisen.

after i reached home, i rested for a while before going to chihiro's house to celebrate her "21st bday". -- no one knows her real bday actually. she gave herself one in dec.

3/7 monday after work went to Holland V to meet bec, kwek, yun n belly. supposed to meet at PS, but change of plans. good thing they told me quite early enough. it's quite convenient to get there from my workplace but not convenient to get home.. =S

we had dinner at Crystal Jade La Mian n Xiaolongbao.. it was good.. 5 of us shared 3 bowls of noodles, 2 servings of xiaolongbao n 2 dessert.. we all felt VERY full after that! they got me a boardgame.. YAY, thanks! they asked me if i got Cluedo at first, then i requested for other boardgames.. cuz really, if i say i have cluedo at home, would anyone be interested to come all the way to my place to play? it'd only collect dust~

tue went for prayer meeting after work. i think God bless me with such a wonderful workplace i have no excuse to not go tuesday prayer meetings. i mean, church is on the way home la~ LOL. met Fay on the way, yay. =P got someone to sit n pray with.. there were Evelyn n Joshua too.

i think the worship is also very spirit-led. we sang the song 'Everyday', which i led at cell grp.. i dun mean to "boast" la.. but it feels good to have things that happen so coincidentally that you KNOW God is at work.

wed supposed to meet Chihiro to buy shoes for her as her bday present, but she forgot abt it. so anyway thomas ask me wanna hang out or not.. but i was quite reluctant becuz i wanted to shop for a pair of pants to wear the next day.. saw a nice one but felt that $27 is too ex.. others $18-$22 was reasonable price but not nice.. haha shirley called me while i was trying on the clothes..

after that thru some communication finally decided to meet lin feng n thomas.. go Alleybar.. had this thing called Magnum n tried a sip of Stella Artois n calamari.. yummy~! toopid thomas made me quite pissed. over what i forgot already. left around 10pm.. on my way out the door i really felt seh.. saw that my face was flushed.. anyway, at dhoby ghaut i saw vincent n gabriel.. haha.. they must have guessed that i went drinking.. i think i reek of alcohol..

thur went home straight after work. tired la.. wanted to slp early.

friday went to Chihiro's workplace to meet her.. went to Far East plaza with her.. had Subway for dinner since she got coupon, but also, this will be the last time i'm eating at Subway (in fact i told myself that the last time) if not for the coupon i wouldn't eat there. took neoprint with her.. :P
