an electric bass guitar is supposed to use electricity to work ya?

i haven't got an amp... no wonder i can't hear anything from it >.<

bought a converter n plugged in my earphone to try.. but can't hear anything.. got quite panic.. wonder if the guit is spoilt or wad..

n then.. i realise..... an electric bass guitar is supposed to use electricity to work!
