i've subscribed to National Geog magazine.. every months comes a story that impacts me. This month's story is about Malaria and how serious it is. The Malaria disease is able to evolve/mutate to immune itself against new vaccines everytime. so disgusting!
There's this quote in the article: "A lull in malaria transmission could cause many people to lose any immunity they have built up against the disease—even adults, immunologically speaking, could revert to infant status—rendering it more devastating if it returned. This is why a partial victory over malaria could be worse than total failure." - reminds me of the verse in Luke 11:24-26
"When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.' When it arrives, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that man is worse than the first."
